〈 CHARACTER INFO 〉
CHARACTER NAME: Carol Danvers
CHARACTER AGE: 29 (no canon age given, going by the actor's age)
SERIES: Marvel Cinematic Universe
CHRONOLOGY: End of Captain Marvel, but before the post-credits scene. The year is 1995.
CLASS: Hero
HOUSING: Government housing, please! Any city but Maurtia Falls.

BACKGROUND: Wiki link for Carol, Wiki link for the MCU.

PERSONALITY:
Carol Danvers is a persistent woman. Her driving force has always been to push beyond her limits, to fly higher, further, and faster. Every time she falls down, she gets back up again, with more resolve and more conviction to succeed this time around. Unfortunately for those around her, Carol Danvers is also a bit of a brat. She cracks wise-ass remarks and refuses to take most situations seriously, even when they could involve life or death. She knows when it's time to put jokes aside and get down to business, of course, but she'll do so with a smile on her face, enjoying the feeling of beating up the bad guys.

Due to having her memories wiped, Carol has had to piece together her past life, her sense of self, from the fragmented memories the Skrulls pulled from her head, and from the scrapbook photos and anecdotes Monica was able to tell her during her time in Louisiana. She's still not one hundred percent back to being the person she used to be, but she isn't Vers the Kree warrior hero anymore, either. She's something new. She's a human warrior hero. One of the first, and certainly one of the most powerful. That said, she isn't tied down to Earth the way the rest of Earth's Mightiest Heroes are. She knows from her time fighting the Kree/Skrull war that there are bigger problems out there in the universe, and they could use someone like her to help solve them. She feels a sense of duty now that she has the full grasp of her abilities. (With great power, comes great responsibility, anyone?) But that's not something new. Carol enlisted in the Air Force in the eighties because she wanted to make a difference. Yeah, and because she wanted to fly higher, further, and faster, but making a difference was an important part of it, too.

Carol is, fundamentally and to her very core, a woman. She doesn't act "ladylike" or wear dresses or makeup, but if you were to ask her, she would never tell you that she's behaving in any way "manly." She would tell you that a woman can wear grungy clothes and beat up bad guys and drink beer and ride a motorcycle and fly a plane... and still be just as much a woman as the ladies wearing high heels and hoop earrings. Carol has suffered through discrimination on the basis of her sex, but, being the persistent bitch that she is, has never let any detractors stop her from achieving her goals.

POWER:

1. Kree Physiology and Tech (canon)

Due to receiving a blood transfusion from Yon-Rogg, Carol has the enhanced strength, speed, and durability of a Kree warrior. Her blood is blue, not red. As a (former) member of Starforce, she has a Starforce-issued suit of armor, including a helmet which allows her to breathe in the vacuum of space. The armor also has the ability to change color, and an access port in the left forearm which can integrate with foreign tech.

2. Energy Manipulation (canon)

Carol absorbed the energy from an experimental engine whose energy signature came from the Infinity Stone known as the Tesseract. She can use this energy to shoot photon blasts from her fists, and to fly through the air and through space. In canon, this ability combined with her Kree physiology makes her powerful enough to singlehandedly destroy large spaceships just by flying straight through them until they explode. This destructive power will be limited in game, so that the most Carol will be able to destroy is a single building.

3. Cat Telepathy (non-canon)

The ability to communicate telepathically with cats and catlike beings. Whether it's a Flerken or a Meowth, or even Catra herself, Carol can form a mental link and express words and emotions directly to the cat's mind, and receive such messages as well. (With OOC permission from all catlike characters involved, of course.)

〈 CHARACTER SAMPLES 〉
COMMUNITY POST (VOICE) SAMPLE:
I've apparently missed two and a half decades, between what year it was for me yesterday and what year it is, here and now. And to be honest, I wasn't exactly around for a half dozen years before that.

Point is, I need to play catchup. Can anyone tell me what sort of TV and music I've missed out on? Is No Doubt still a thing? What about Nirvana? Anyone got any recommendations for movies I should rent from Blockbuster?

LOGS POST (PROSE) SAMPLE: TDM thread

FINAL NOTES: Carol's inventory will include her Kree Starforce suit and helmet (part of her powers) and her US Air Force leather jacket (ketchup stains removed).
